No.29 Bus Timetable Update

Dear Resident,

Further timetable changes have been necessary for the number 29 bus that affects the first bus in the morning and the last one of the day from Mold to Wrexham. Flintshire wish to convey their apologies for the problems that occurred last week over the number 29 not going into Castell Alun school grounds, and any other problems that have arisen during the introduction of this new service.

This bus was supposed to have gone into the school grounds from 27th January, but this did not happen because the bus did not have time to do this, and it has now resulted in a change of timetable that can be seen on the attached revised timetable.

The changes will come into effect from Monday 3rd February where the first bus will now leave Mold at 7-50 rather than 8-10, picking up in Dobshill at 8-08 instead of 8-23, Penymynydd at 8-12 instead of 8-24, Pen-y-ffordd at 8-18 instead of 8-27, arriving at school at 8-26 rather than 8-33.

The last bus will now leave Mold at 16-05 instead of 16-30, arriving at Dobshill 16-18 instead of 16-43, Penymynydd at 16-19 instead of 16-44, and Pen-y-ffordd at 16-22 instead of 16-47.

The rest of the changes are on the attached revised timetable.

From Monday, the bus will go into the school grounds in the morning only, but in the afternoon, 6th form students will be expected to get the 29 bus from opposite the church in Hope (outside the old pub). If there is space on the P & O bus, 6th formers issued with bus passes can travel on that one, but if there is overloading, they will be expected to travel on the 29 service.

We hope this information is clear and helpful, and that the service can now settle and be of value to residents of the routes.
