Planning Applications Refused

Today the Flintshire planning committee refused planning permission for both the proposed 37 houses on Vounog Hill and the 36 retirement apartments on Rhos Road.

The planning officers had proposed refusal and the committee voted unanimously.

Thank you to all those who wrote with letters of objection, attending the village meetings and attended both the site visit on Monday and committee today.

The applicants have a right to appeal the decision and any appeal will be reviewed by a planning inspector (not the Welsh Minister) and would not necessarily result in a Public Inquiry.
