Planning - Bank Farm
This site, now a derelict farm, has had 3 applications for housing refused and 2 withdrawn, in 2013 and 2016. The landowner intended to build 12 executive homes and in the most controversial decision, refusal was made by the Welsh First Minister, after Flintshire had refused the application and the Planning Inspector recommended approval. This was following vigorous lobbying by our County Councillors.
The developer submitted a renewed application in August 2016 but this was withdrawn on advice from Flintshire planners who advised that it was not significantly different from the original application.
