There's still time for your Village Scarecrows

Scarecrow Competition reminder!

The scarecrow competition has now started and scarecrows need to be completed by the last week in August. The main sponsors are Jemoleys, the Millstone and the Red Lion. There is no theme required so you can use your imagination with a super hero, key worker or as we have the Inspector out very soon to consider the application for building on the Vounog, a theme of ‘keep off our sledging field’ maybe appropriate. The scarecrows can be put up there near the end of the competition.

Prizes.

Family Section - two prizes of a family meal to the value of £50. One at the Red Lion and one at the Millstone.

11 to 18 section - breakfast for two at Jemoleys.

Under 11 section - 1st prize - £30. 2nd prize - £20. 3rd prize - £10.

Local business - Donated trophy.
