Community Bus services LT8 and number 29 Update from FCC transport

Message from Flintshire County Council Transportation

Please find attached, temporary timetable for the LT8 which will re commence on Monday 22nd June. Due to government guidelines we are able to provide a maximum of 25% of normal seating capacity and it is advised that there be 2m distancing between passengers.  However, if we to follow these guidelines, we could only allow 2 passengers at a time.  Therefore, we will be following the 25%  maximum capacity on the vehicle allowing  4 passengers but  all passengers will be required to wear face masks.  There will be some spare masks made available but passengers are to be encouraged to use their own wherever possible.  We will continue to monitor the usage and passenger trends and will amend the timetables as and when Welsh Government guidelines allow.

M&H coaches have also confirmed that they will be resuming the service 29 school runs again from Monday.  Again, there will be a limited number of seats available and whilst we cannot insist that children wear face masks it is advisable.  Steps are being made to put 2 meter tape at bus stops and there will be passenger notices on buses giving government guidelines for public travel.

There will also be information on the FCC website and timetables will be updated regularly .
