Penyffordd Circular Walks (Public footpaths)

There are two farms within our village where the public footpath crosses through or is very close to the farmyard. We have been made aware that the farmers have temporarily closed the access through their farms and after lengthy discussions, the Community Council support the farmer’s decisions to temporarily close the footpaths in these extraordinary times.

We have contacted FCC to ascertain their stance on this situation and was advised that the procedure is for farmers to contact FCC where an application for a temporary closure would be dealt with on a case by case basis.  As we are in support of the decision we would ask everyone to avoid the farms for the time being.
