Business Support Grants

Please see below and the attachment that provides details of business grants available for local businesses. If you have a business and think you qualify, or know of any business in the village that may benefit, please feel free to pass the info on.

The deadline is 20th November and is on a first come first served basis so any applicant will need to move quickly.

Statement from FCC.

The latest Business Support Grant scheme is going live across Wales at 15:00 today (28/10/2020). We have the website content and on-line application forms ready for switching into our live website environment at 15:00.

There are two grant schemes available which offer financial support to all local businesses – grants of up to £5,000 are available to those businesses who are liable to pay business rates and up to £2,000 for all other local businesses.

The purpose of the latest round of grants is to support local businesses with immediate cash flow support. The grant schemes seek to complement other Covid-19 response measures to support businesses, social enterprises and charitable organisations in Wales. The grants are being administered by the Council and paid on a ‘first come first served’ basis. The grant schemes will close for applications at 5pm on 20th November or when the fund is fully committed.
