Free School Meals
The Welsh Government has guaranteed free school meal provision for all school holidays up to and including Easter 2021, thanks to £11m confirmed by Education Minister Kirsty Williams.

Statement from Claire Homard, Chief Officer for Education and Youth- Flintshire County Council:
WG has made provision for all children in Wales to continue to receive free school meals and we have reinstated Direct Payments to all entitled families for whom we had bank details for the half term holiday, for those year groups (9-13) who will have a second week of distance learning and for cohorts of pupils who have to self-isolate due to a positive case in their bubble when schools reopen.
