The New School is Coming!

Today the Flintshire Planning Committee passed the plans for the new 21st Century School on Abbots Lane. The school will bring together the existing Abbots Lane infants and Penymynydd Road primary school sites into one building increasing capacity to 315 children plus 30 infant places.

The next stage is to confirm co-funding from Cardiff, which we believe will be a formality.

It is hoped that the new school will be ready for the September 2019 intake. The existing infants school will remain open throughout the build.
