Redrow’s 186 house development on Chester Road was approved by the Welsh Minister, after a public inquiry, in May 2018. Work started soon afterwards making the ground preparations..

Redrow have indicated that they intend to build the bottom two fields first with show homes open mid-2019 and the first phase complete by the end of 2020. The whole site should be completed by 2024.

As of January 2019, the site conditions and re-plan (shown) were yet to be approved by Flintshire planners.

The roads from the site do not break through into adjacent developments - there will be footpath links to Hulleys Close, Kent Close and to the bridal path.

The surface water drainage has already been installed down Chester Road. The foul drains will connect to the existing drains through Kent Close.
